Hi! I'm the founder and principal consultant at Sage Insight. I hold a Ph.D. in Systems Science: Psychology, with a major in Developmental Psychology and a minor in Organizational Psychology. My graduate research focused on socio-emotional development and the contextual influences on students’ school motivation and academic engagement.
I am passionate about supporting work that advances equitable access whether in education, research, public service, health, or the arts. Across all my work, I aim to cultivate inclusive environments and systems that empower diverse learners and users.
This focus on practical, people-centered solutions has guided my career and ultimately inspired the creation of Sage Insight.
Sage Insight brings together the many paths my career has taken across higher education, applied research, and nonprofit work. I’ve been a college instructor, mentor and academic advisor, research lead, program manager, functional Project Management Office (PMO) director, and systems strategist. Each role shaped the way I work today, bridging education, research, and systems to support people and teams.
Though Sage Insight, I have created a space where all the facets of my work could come together. It allows me to do the work I love across disciplines, whether that be supporting students, families, or small teams/organizations. My approach is strategic, practical, and rooted in human insight.
The name Sage Insight is intentional. “Sage” reflects not just my last name but also the thoughtful, steady, and clear-eyed perspective I aim to bring to every collaboration. And the octopus in my logo is a nod to how I work: curious, adaptable, and multi-armed, moving fluidly across disciplines, navigating complexity with creativity, and staying attentive to the people at the center of the work.
At its heart, Sage Insight is about helping people and systems move forward with greater focus, direction, and impact.
